Parking is available outside of the property and in local surrounding streets, free of charge. Easy access within a 10 minute walk to local amenities on Northdown Rd and surrounding streets and beaches. Within a 20-30 minute Cliff top coastal walk, Margate Old Town can be reached.

Within 5 mins from the property, you’ll reach the promenade and can walk along the green spaces of Eastern Esplanade towards Margate Old Town, a relaxing 20-30 min stroll away. At low tide, the sandy shores of Margate Main Sands can be reached along the beach, from Palm Bay (7-10min walk), discovering rock pools and Walpole Bay Tidal Sea Bath along the way towards the Harbour Arm, leading to The Turner Contemporary Gallery. From the days of Turner, Margate has been an artists retreat. The Gallery celebrated its 10 year anniversary in 2021, access is free, as are many of the independent galleries dotted around. An abundance of restaurants, pubs and bars also awaits, experiencing the quirky and unique, the boutiques, markets and attractions such as the historic theme park “Dreamland”, the fascinating Shell Grotto and Margate Caves.
