Located in Cliftonville Margate, newly refurbished ‘St Malo House’ is a spacious three bed home offering the perfect location and accommodation for family getaways and business trips.
St Malo House is arranged over three floors, the lounge and kitchen located on the ground floor have all the offerings of home comforts. The lounge has a SMART TV, free Wi-Fi and a large comfortable corner sofa bed which can be converted to an additional bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances including washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster and kettle.
The private master bedroom, on the 2nd floor, is ensuite with a walk in shower cubicle. There are two double sized bedrooms on the first floor, one set up with two single zip link beds, making this a double bed if needed (this is only available on request), TV and a comfortable seating area (perfect for the kids!). Up to six adults can be accommodated attractively furnished bedrooms.
The main bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle and bath. Towels and linen will be provided for the number of guests booked. Kitchen and bathroom essentials provided.
There is one dedicated parking space, with more parking available outside of the property. Convenience stores and supermarkets are within a 5-7 minute walk from the house.
Within 5 mins of St Malo House, you’ll reach the promenade and can walk along the green spaces of Eastern Esplanade towards Margate Old Town, a relaxing 20-30 min stroll away. At low tide, the sandy shores of Margate Main Sands can be reached along the beach, from Palm Bay (7-10min walk), discovering rock pools and Walpole Bay Tidal Sea Bath along the way towards the Harbour Arm, leading to The Turner Contemporary Gallery. From the days of Turner, Margate has been an artists retreat. The Gallery celebrated its 10 year anniversary in 2021, access is free, as are many of the independent galleries dotted around. An abundance of restaurants, pubs and bars also awaits, experiencing the quirky and unique, the boutiques, markets and attractions such as the historic theme park “Dreamland”, the fascinating Shell Grotto and Margate Caves. Margate has something to suit everyone!
